Tabyana Ali recently joined the cast of “General Hospital” this
year in the role of Trina Robinson. Trina is the daughter of Dr.
Portia Robinson and Lt. Marcus Taggert. She is currently a student at
Port Charles University alongside her friends Josslyn Jacks and
Cameron Webber. Nice girl Trina is currently in a budding romance with
Cassadine heir, Spencer Cassadine.

In addition to “GH,” Ali will be the supporting lead in the
upcoming film “Empire Waist,” now in postproduction. The film
follows a group of teens who overcome societal biases through
inclusive fashion design and friendship. Ali is also known for her
work in “Horror Noir,” “The Big Show,” “Shimmer and
Shine,” “A Kid Called Mayonnaise” and “Stuck Together.”

Ali has always believed it is vital that young girls and women know
how powerful, strong and important they are. Being in a family of
mostly women, she grew up knowing the power and community of women.
Ali is proud to support Keke Palmer’s The Saving Our Daughters’
Cinderella Program, which focuses on the empowerment of young girls
and women through the arts.

Originally from San Antonio, Ali landed her first commercial at age 8
and knew from that moment that acting was in her future. She not only
acts but sings, dances and just sold her first short film that is
already in postproduction. When not acting, Ali is also an avid baker.
